I’m a 29 year old Software Engineer who live in the UK. I’m married to a very understanding, lovely wife and have 4 superb step-children (well some of the time they are).
I started running after being nagged by collegues a few years ago. They were starting an after-work jogging group, just a few miles once a week. Considering my job and hobbies are all pretty much inactive, I was starting to get in quite bad shape. Bowing to the pressure I joined my work-mates, struggling 1/2 a mile at first, but have since truely caught the bug. I’ve gone from a blob, almost permanently attached to a PC, to a lycra clad bod running most nights (or so it seems)…
The purpose of the journal is for me to keep a track of what I have done. It is useful for me to be able to compare runs, not just in terms of data, but also the way I felt during a run. What went right or wrong, that sort of thing.
