Headed out from home, up Tongwell Lane then accross to  Willen Lake…  through Middleton and back around to the canal.

I got to about 8 1/2 miles and HAD to stop!  My stomach was literally about to explode.  Left J to get home as she was going for a 10 miler.  Luckily I was 1/2 mile from the gym so tried to jog back there.  Literally only made it about 10 steps at a time thinking at any second “this is it – in front of ALL these people I’m going to humiliate myself”.

Luckily that didn’t happen – I made it to the gym, but was worried about going and running outside again.  So ran 12 kilometers on the treadmill (nearly 7 1/2 miles).  I knew then that the 4 miles to home would bring me to 20…  BUT I was out of fuel!  Completely spent, felt cold and drained and didn’t have warm clothes if I had to walk.

Rang home and J came to pick me up…  got home and threw up.  Right now I feel terrible – HAD to force down food.

Reason for my problems?  Hmm, well I drank red wine last night, but not LOADS and don’t usually feel this bad.  I also ate beef last night which doesn’t help.  Hmmm  who knows – just a bad day maybe.  Bit worried as there are stomach bugs about, but I’ve not been ill for nearly 2 hours now.
